Be a part of a “human diagram” of water infrastructure

Where does our drinking water come from? And how can we be more connected to our infrastructure and the communities that supply our water? Lize Mogel is an artist from New York, who is researching this question in her city.

Join a workshop and picnic brunch about water infrastructure. Participants will learn about NYC and Toronto’s water infrastructure, and create a “human diagram” of NYC’s water supply system, forming the connections between reservoirs, aqueducts and water tunnels with their bodies. Props will be provided; be prepared to make some noise!

We will film the workshop at Sir Winston Churchill Park on Saturday June 16 (10am-12pm) and then feature the video in Diagrams of Power from July 11-September 29 at Onsite Gallery, OCAD University.
